Janet Nault NTP has worked in the field of nutrition since 1983 and graduated from Nutritional Therapy Association in 2006. As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) I am passionate about helping my clients achieve optimum health and lose unwanted pounds and inches. I do not diagnose disease or prescribe drugs but rather I look for “dysfunction” and “deficiencies” that could contribute to a multitude of health concerns. Using testing methods that are safe and non invasive such as functional, muscle response and near lingual testing. I assess the bodies physical and nutritional needs then a customized protocol is designed to best support your weak organs or systems. 

Protocols may include one or more of the following: dietary changes such as eating “real” food, supporting digestion and elimination, cleansing harmful toxins, exercise, hydration, nutritional recommendations, reducing the effects of stress, restoring sleep, balancing PH, minerals, fats, hormones and reaching your ideal weight.

 

In regards to weight, most of us can lose weight, the challenge is keeping it off! It is important to realize that excessive weight gain is a symptom or result of a “dysfunction”. You could also be eating the wrong foods for your bodies specific nutritional profile.

Although many people gain weight because of a sedentary life style and consuming too many calories, many gain because of imbalances caused by stress, food allergies, addictions, toxins, medications, poor digestion, poor food choices, unbalanced hormones, chronic inflammation, blood sugar regulation, pathogens, yeast over growth, a lack of sleep or your leptin hormone is turned on in which weight gain is the result.
