That guy in the boat got a quick and not so subtle reminder, alignment is truly everything. We were out on the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River taking pictures. This was supposed to be a great sunny shot of me smiling and waving to all as I dropped through those giant river boulders but, instead I was reminded of what I have been saying each day to patients about the detrimental effects of spinal misalignments and proper spinal maintenance. Like this kayak, spinal bones need to be properly lined up, adjusted, and properly functioning. If not, we become aware, often subtly, how our health and spinal function are linked and alignment really does matter.
The nervous system controls and coordinates all organs and structures of the human body. Misalignments of spinal vertebra cause irritation and function loss to the nervous system and affects the structures and organs which results in a multitude of health concerns. Our health depends on proper spinal alignment. Along with other positive health habits a well adjusted and correctly positioned spinal vertebral column allows for better function of every system in our body. We simply move, see, think, react, and function better with proper alignment.
Alignment is everything.
